Senior System Engineer Job Description

This is a senior-level position responsible for driving product design and development in the Mission Systems Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering and experience with CAD software.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the development of new and existing products, ensuring they meet product requirements including safety, reliability, and conformance to standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform concept design, detailed design engineering using CAD platforms such as Creo 7.0 / Solidworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam etc.
  • Design new products, modify existing designs, design calculations, GD&T & Tolerance stake up analysis, DFMEA, DFMA (Design for manufacturability & assembly), Risk Management & DVPR improve production techniques, and develop test procedures.
  • Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Interact with global cross functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Aerospace, Mechanical or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree - Min 4 - 6 years of total experience of product design and development, Mfg drawings and CAD modeling

Skills:

  • NPD, Sustaining Engg, 3D modeling and drawings, GD&T, Tolerance stackup, Engineering design calculations, Risk analysis & assessment (DFMEA)
