Product Control Specialist

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting for board meetings, finance reviews, and local management.

  • Support internal and external audit cycles by ensuring compliance with audit requirements and maintaining a strong control framework.

  • Oversee safeguarding requirements related to Client Money accounts and ensure controls are appropriately designed and implemented.

  • Assist in preparing wind down plans, capital adequacy plans, and liquidity analyses for legal entities.

  • Perform month-end close activities, including detailed financial data review, variance analysis, and delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Drive enhancements in month-end processes, promoting efficiency, transparency, and control in financial results reporting.

  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to identify, monitor, and escalate financial and operational risks.

Required Skills:

  • Qualified accountant with 4+ years of experience in the financial services industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a sharp focus on control and accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to senior stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage competing priorities.

  • Effective collaborator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a matrixed, global environment.
