Backend Developer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Java developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with expertise in Java and other programming languages such as Python and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient server-side applications using Java
  • Develop user interfaces using ReactJS or AngularJS or PolymerJS or EmberJS or jQuery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases, following best coding practices and principles of object-oriented programming
  • Participate in DevOps activities, including continuous integration and deployment
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, such as big data, machine learning, and natural language processing

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in software development, preferably with Java and other mentioned programming languages
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Possess a product-centric mindset and excellent OOP skills, including design patterns
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices
