Android Application Developer Position
  • We are seeking an accomplished Android application developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality applications for the Android Automotive platform.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java programming and have experience with multiple versions of Android.
  • They will also be familiar with the Android framework, offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Responsibilities include implementing IPC mechanisms such as AIDL, messenger, Services, and Binders, as well as implementing gRPC and MQTT.
  • The successful candidate must be proficient in RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
  • Experience with cloud message APIs and usage of push notifications is also highly valued.
  • Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket, as well as familiarity with continuous integration and advanced testing libraries, is essential.
  • A strong understanding of business analytics principles and proven ability to use analytics to drive development of business cases and product strategy is required.
  • The chosen candidate will also be expected to implement Native SDK requirements and contribute to the design and launch of new features in collaboration with the engineering team.
