We're looking for a seasoned developer to create high-performance backend systems.

Job Description

In this role, you'll design and develop scalable services and APIs that meet the needs of our wealth management platform.

You will work on building robust server-side architecture, implementing secure integrations with financial data providers, trading platforms, and banking systems, as well as developing automated investment execution systems and portfolio calculation engines.

This position requires expertise in designing secure, high-performance systems capable of handling financial data, real-time portfolio updates, and seamless integrations while ensuring the highest standards of security and compliance in the fintech space.

  • Develop scalable backend services using Node.js, Python, or Java.
  • Create robust server-side architecture supporting real-time portfolio updates, automated investing, and AI-driven recommendations.
  • Implement secure integrations with financial data providers, trading platforms, and banking systems.
  • Design microservices architecture that supports rapid feature deployment and app scalability.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of backend languages, database systems, DevOps, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in backend development for fintech or complex transactional platforms.
  • Expertise in programming languages (Node.js, Python, Java), database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), DevOps (Docker, AWS EC2, Nginx, Linux), and REST APIs.
  • A track record of building secure, scalable, and resilient backend systems.
  • Advanced understanding of backend architecture, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize performance, and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Understanding of financial regulations, investment products, and real-time trading systems.
