Gastrointestinal Specialist

We are seeking a full-time, on-site gastroenterologist to join our team in Kolkata (Greater Kolkata Area). The successful candidate will diagnose and manage gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic disorders.

• Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures such as Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy etc.
• Manage hepatology cases, including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver failure.
• Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and emergency gastroenterology services.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Surgery, Oncology, Critical Care, Radiology etc.) for holistic patient management.
• Participate in academic training programs, CMEs, and clinical quality improvement initiatives.

• DM (Gastroenterology) from a recognized institute is mandatory.
• Strong expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology is required.
• Proficiency in performing and interpreting endoscopic procedures such as Upper GI, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy etc. is essential.
• Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills are necessary.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach are required.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary hospital environment is essential.
• Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital is preferred but fresh DM graduates are also encouraged to apply.
