Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a skilled software engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on building and running services at scale, impacting hundreds of millions of consumers and enterprise users.

This role will involve architecting, designing, and implementing services that enable richer scenarios for our customers. As part of the IC3 team in India, you will be working on distributed micro-services built on Azure compute with emphasis on service excellence and solid devOps practices.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecting and designing large scale distributed systems that can handle high volumes of data with tight availability, reliability, and latency constraints.
  • Building and maintaining highly reliable distributed systems and services.
  • Designing and developing scalable cloud-based solutions using Azure.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience.
  • Azure cloud experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with systematic and structured approach to software design.

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of technical engineering experience with any object-oriented coding languages including C++, C#, Java or Python.
  • 5+ years of professional experience with designing, developing, and shipping highly reliable distributed systems and services.
  • Solid understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture principles and operations.
  • Experience in DevOps to maintain live services and/or application frameworks.
