Job Overview

IQVIA RDS (India) Private Limited is seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Bangalore team. As a Data Scientist at IQVIA, you will work on advanced data analytics, visualization, and predictive modeling to drive insights and decision-making in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
  • Develop predictive models and apply machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
  • Visualize data and analytical results using Matplotlib and other visualization tools to present insights in a clear and impactful manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into data science solutions.
  • Continuously improve existing models and develop new ones to meet evolving business needs.
  • Use Python, R, and other analytical tools for data manipulation, processing, and analysis.
  • Document, present, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

  • For Freshers:
    • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Proficiency in Matplotlib is mandatory.
      • Familiarity with Python and other data visualization libraries such as Seaborn or Plotly.
      • Basic understanding of machine learning techniques and statistical analysis.
  • For Experienced Candidates (1-5 years):
    • Experience: 1-5 years of hands-on experience in data science, machine learning, or related fields.
    • Technical Skills:
      • Strong expertise in Matplotlib for data visualization.
      • Proficiency in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, etc.).
      • Experience in working with data visualization libraries such as Seaborn, Plotly, and Tableau.
      • Familiarity with SQL, data manipulation techniques, and ETL processes.
