Job Title: Cloud PaaS Service Administrator

Overview:

This role involves overseeing the administration and management of various Azure PaaS services, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer and manage Azure PaaS services including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database / Managed Instance, Azure Storage (Blob, Data Lake Gen2), Event Hub, Logic Apps & Key Vault.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance of PaaS workloads.
  • Implement and manage security controls, IAM, and governance policies for PaaS resources.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell / Azure CLI scripting.
  • Ensure high availability (HA), compliance, and adherence to SLAs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployments, scaling, and troubleshooting.
  • Optimize costs and resource utilization across PaaS services.
  • Provide incident and problem management support for production systems.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base for platform administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Requirements:
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, App Insights).
  • Expertise in cloud computing and PaaS services.
  • Knowledge of Azure Security and Governance.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
