Job Title: Software Engineer

Overview:

Our company is looking for a skilled software engineer to join our team. As a key member of the development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using Java and Spring Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and maintainable code for Java-based applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Debug and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks to enhance application performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), and Hibernate/JPA. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services is also necessary. Proficiency in working with relational databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL is required. Practical experience with AWS cloud services and building scalable, microservices-based architectures is preferred. Experience with build tools like Maven or Gradle is also desirable. Understanding of version control systems, especially Git, is essential. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns is required. Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and methodologies is also necessary. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment are also required.
