Enterprise Data Architect

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled data professional to design, develop, and implement enterprise-level data management and analytics solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating scalable, secure data pipelines and models, integrating with various data sources.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Architect and integrate data management and analytics solutions using SAP Datasphere and associated technologies.
  • Design data pipelines and integrations within SAP Datasphere and related environments.
  • Build logical and physical data models, replication flows, ETL processes, and task chains.
  • Implement data governance and security measures, including tenant setup, user roles, object- and row-level security, and metadata catalogs for compliance.
  • Develop APIs and connect systems, delivering datasets to BI platforms.
  • Migrate and manage data content across development, test, and production systems using SAP BW Bridge.
  • Monitor performance and optimize model and query performance, ensuring reliability.
  • Collaborate with functional teams, mentor junior staff, and assist in pre-sales or requirements gathering.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere in multiple end-to-end implementations.
  • Strong data modeling skills (SQL, CDS, graph).
  • Proficiency in replication, ETL, task chains.
  • Expertise in security design: roles, scopes, cataloging.
  • Experience integrating with SAC, external APIs, and scripting languages (SQL, Python, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of SAP BTP architecture and cloud security.
  • Domain Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, Sales).
  • Experience with BI tools like SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and agile environments.
  • Mentorship and training capabilities for junior colleagues.
