Proposal Engineer Job Summary

This role is crucial in driving our mission to address complex process-related challenges through world-class solutions.

  • The ideal candidate will provide technical support for industrial filtration products and processes, ensuring compliance with performance requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.
  • A strong background in mechanical engineering principles and industry best practices is essential.
  • The successful applicant will be responsible for designing and sizing filters to meet specific application requirements, utilizing ASME calculations (preferred) to ensure optimal results.
  • Collaboration with sales and marketing teams will be key in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, providing technical expertise for customer engagements and solution development.
  • Preparation of accurate and timely quotations in response to customer inquiries and sales team requests will also be a critical aspect of this role.
  • The Proposal Engineer will oversee the successful implementation and execution of after-sales service initiatives, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of our systems across diverse sectors.
  • Providing comprehensive product and application training to internal sales teams, as well as accompanying them on customer visits to facilitate technical discussions, will be an important part of this position.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
