Product Design Director Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Design Director to lead our design team in shaping the future of our company's products. As a key member of the product leadership team, you will be responsible for defining and driving the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Strategy: Define and drive the design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent user experience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Customer-Facing Influence: Engage in early client discussions to shape design strategy, translating needs into actionable insights.
  • Design Ops: Establish and streamline design operations to improve consistency, collaboration, efficiency, and quality across teams.

As a seasoned leader with extensive experience in product design, you will be responsible for building and leading a team of talented product designers, setting a vision for user experience across our products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet user needs and push the boundaries of what is possible with AI.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Proven experience leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Previous experience working on AI-powered products and/or curiosity about the rapidly evolving landscape and its impact on design and user experience.
