About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned financial research professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in equity/credit analysis, financial modelling, valuations and investment report writing.

The selected candidate will work on projects such as supporting private equity clients in identifying and evaluating investment opportunities, working with investment banking/corporate advisory clients in pitching investment ideas, and assisting sell/buy side equity research clients in initiating coverage and annual/quarterly maintenance of models and reports.

Key responsibilities include managing projects end-to-end from scoping and execution to keeping internal stakeholders updated and communicating directly with the client, as well as training, mentoring and monitoring junior analysts.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience for AVP and 10+ years for VP; prior experience of working in KPOs/captive offshore units of international investment banks/brokerage houses will be given preference.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: sell/buy side equity or credit research with highly developed financial modelling and report writing skills, M&A analysis (for private equity, corporate finance advisory/investment banking clients) – company and industry analysis, pitch book/IM/IC memos, financial modelling, valuations.
  • MBA from top tier colleges with a strong academic record; CFA highly preferred.

  • Should be proactive in prioritizing and organizing tasks to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects.

  • Ability to work on unstructured situations and projects.
