Job Overview

A global technology company is seeking a skilled Operator (RSOC) in Pune, Maharashtra to manage various activities at their Regional Security Operations Centre.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and investigating alarms received from access control and video management systems.
  • Dispatching field personnel in response to alarms, emergencies, and calls for service; alerting emergency responders as needed.
  • Assisting personnel with access control issues.
  • Ensuring timely communication of all major and minor events; notifying the appropriate response resources as directed by procedure.
  • Monitoring and maintaining life safety and access control systems.
  • Generating work orders and maintenance requests according to RSOC process.
  • Conducting routine audits of readers, cameras, and other related devices.
  • Monitoring corporate security email inboxes, service central requests, and coordinating with the security operations team. Following up on service tickets until closure.
  • Managing the Internal Security Emergency number and coordinating response.
  • Supporting the PACS badging function on Lenel.
  • Receiving security alerts from international organizations like ISOS and escalating if necessary.
  • Coordinating with the global travel SOC.
  • Troubleshooting and facilitating problem resolution.
  • Ensuring the safety of employees locally and abroad by monitoring domestic and global events.
  • Preparing all required written reports, including activity reports, incident summary reports, and all required logs.
  • Collaborating with the Manager to identify process and quality improvements.
  • Performing other duties and special project functions as assigned.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Associate's degree or above.
  • Strong knowledge of computer operations and applications, including MS Office, Internet Browsing, and the ability to quickly understand security systems.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality.
