Job Title: Risk Management Testing Specialist
">The Business Risk Management organization is seeking a skilled professional to perform operational effectiveness testing of internal controls on behalf of the First Line of Defence for the Investment Services business.

- To supervise the work of members of the Testing Team within the First Line's Business Risk Management organization and ensure that the control testing program runs efficiently, in accordance with defined control testing methodologies;">
- Maintain effective, regular, and open communication with Business Risk Management and the broader operational business;">
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of several team members and conduct hands-on testing reviews to ensure high-quality control tests are completed on time;">
The ideal candidate has experience in performing risk and control assessments, audits, or testing in a financial services environment. They will ideally have some years of experience employing common control testing concepts such as population identification and sampling, designing appropriate control attributes to address required control objectives, an understanding of information processing objectives (e.g., completeness, accuracy, timeliness, etc.), and an awareness of industry-standard control assessment frameworks (e.g., COSO).

- A minimum of 9+ years of experience performing risk and control assessments, audits, or testing in a financial services environment;">
- A good understanding and experience in performing control design and operational effectiveness review or testing;">
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English to interact and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders at relatively senior levels;">
- Some project management/planning experience and a desire to develop leadership skills;">
- Ability to multi-task, plan ahead, anticipate issues, and track multiple concurrent projects; strong organizational and time management skills to perform multiple simultaneous tasks independently in a deadline-driven environment and manage own time to meet deadlines;">
- Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance and provide effective coaching and workpaper review for less experienced team members;">
- Self-motivated and adaptable professional with the ability to prioritize competing priorities while meeting deadlines;">
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).">
Qualifications:

- Complete or partial professional qualification in an audit or related field (e.g., ACCA, CIA, CFA, etc.);">
- Familiarity with common risk and control processes in securities trading, asset management, custody banking, or fund services;">
- Experience with any large GRC systems useful;">
- Knowledge and awareness of relevant compliance requirements and fundamental regulations (e.g., AML/CFT, legal entity governance, etc.).">
