Finance Specialist

This position requires a finance specialist to manage general accounting work required to maintain the department's general ledger. The ideal candidate will perform financial analysis of the department's chart of accounts and financial statements by identifying and analyzing variances.

The successful candidate will analyze, record and report accounting transactions in a timely manner. They will prepare general ledger entries and account reconciliations. Additionally, they will respond to inquiries received from management, internal and external auditors, regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.

The key responsibilities include:

  1. Analyzing, recording and reporting complex movement of transactions, balance confirmations and deviations if any.
  2. Reviewing account reconciliations prepared by accountants and accounting clerks.
  3. Reviewing and interpreting audit and entity inter company queries, leading and supporting inter company daily & monthly activities.
  4. Reviewing, investigating and resolving issues relating to inter company transactions.
  5. Ensuring accuracy of reporting in multiple currencies and the conversion techniques to US$.
