Responsibilities:

  • Developing Audit Skills: Develop and demonstrate an understanding of the RSM audit approach, methodology, and tools.">
  • Audit Execution: Perform audit procedures and tests in accordance with the RSM audit methodology based on the overall audit plan, ensuring proper documentation of work performed.">
  • Risk Identification: Identify areas of risk and accounting and auditing issues; discuss with engagement teams to solve issues that arise.">
  • Technical Research: Research technical accounting issues.">
  • Industry Expertise: Develop industry expertise.">
  • Reporting: Prepare audit reports, management letters, and other client deliverables.">
  • Professional Judgment: Exercising professional skepticism, judgment, and adhere to the code of ethics while on engagements.">
  • Documentation Compliance: Ensuring that documentation is compliant with quality standards of the firm.">
  • Teamwork: Working collaboratively as a part of the team and communicate effectively with RSM audit professionals.">
  • Supervision and Development: Providing supervision and development training for associates.">
  • Task Ownership: Taking ownership of assigned tasks and deliverables to ensure service excellence through prompt responses to internal and external clients.">
  • Client Service: Providing timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the audit work plan and client deliverables.">
  • Professional Development: Ensuring professional development through ongoing education.">
  • Project Participation: Participating in a range of projects and open to collaborate and work with multiple teams; demonstrating critical thinking, problem-solving, initiative, and timely completion of work.">

Required Qualifications:

  • Accounting Certification: Semi Qualified ACCA/CPA or equivalent.">
  • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience working in an accounting and audit-related field specifically NFP industry.">
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS.">
  • Analytical Skills: Strong Data Analytical skills including advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, pivot tables, and basic formulas), Word, and PowerPoint.">
  • Multi-tasking and Project Management: Strong multi-tasking and project management skills.">
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients and the United States-based engagement teams.">
