Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in automation testing using Core Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG/JUnit.

The successful candidate will design and execute RESTful API test cases using tools like RestAssured, Postman, or SOAP UI. They will also implement data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid test frameworks.

In addition, the candidate will analyze business and technical requirements to design test plans and test scenarios. They will execute regression, smoke, and integration tests and track defects.

The Automation Tester will collaborate with developers, DevOps, and QA leads to identify quality risks early. They will integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and generate execution reports and dashboards using ExtentReports, Allure, or similar tools.

This role requires strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of hands-on experience in automation testing
  • Strong command of Core Java for test scripting
  • Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle
  • Experience in REST API testing using RestAssured/Postman
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), bug tracking (JIRA), and Agile methodologies
