About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled individual to take on this challenging position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving product development, ensuring smooth execution from concept to launch, and building impactful features for our users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To build and maintain core backend systems for user authentication, payments, and subscriptions using PHP and Laravel, ensuring scalability for a growing platform.
  • Design and manage APIs to power frontend, mobile apps, and third-party integrations.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features, from development to deployment, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to support a reliable product.
  • Debug and optimize existing systems to enhance performance and handle scale.
  • Streamline backend processes and database queries for efficiency in a resource-limited environment.
  • Work closely with the cross-functional team (frontend, product, and operations) to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Actively contribute to discussions around product features and technical approaches.
  • Be hands-on in solving critical issues quickly to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously monitor and maintain secure and stable backend systems.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance system capabilities or improve processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of backend development experience, preferably in a startup or small team environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful features in a lean setup.
  • Proficiency in PHP and Laravel for backend development.
  • Strong knowledge of MySQL for managing complex databases.
  • Hands-on experience with building and managing APIs for scalable applications.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with tools like Redis, Docker, or cloud platforms.
