Job Title: Senior Statistical Programmer

As a seasoned statistical programmer, you will play a pivotal role in developing process methodologies to meet internal and external clients' needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in planning and coordinating the development of integrated programming solutions that cater to the full spectrum of statistical programming requirements.

  • You will provide technical leadership and guidance to the team, ensuring seamless project execution and delivery.
  • Your ability to interpret project-level requirements and develop programming specifications will be crucial in delivering complex studies.
  • You will work closely with internal and external clients, as well as statisticians and clinical team members, to ensure accurate understanding of project requirements and timelines.
  • Your exceptional organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills will enable you to manage resource assignments, communicate project status, and negotiate/re-negotiate project timelines for deliverables.

You will be responsible for:

  • Performing, planning, coordinating, and implementing complex study programming, testing, and documentation.
  • Providing advanced technical expertise in conjunction with internal and external clients to bring project solutions to SP teams and Statistical Programming department.
  • Directly communicating with internal and client statisticians and clinical team members to ensure appropriate understanding of requirements and project timelines.
  • Estimating programming scope of work, managing resource assignments, communicating project status, and negotiating/re-negotiating project timelines for deliverables.

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters or Bachelors Degree in Math, Computer Science, or Statistics.
  • 7+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in lieu of degree.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistics, programming, and/or clinical drug development process.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Aptitude for mathematical calculations and problem-solving.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS Graph, and SAS Macro Language.
  • Knowledge of Data Standards (such as CDISC/ADaM/SDTM).
