Cyber Security Analyst

This is a dynamic and exciting role within our organization. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security posture of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, monitor, and manage SIEM and SOAR solutions to ensure threat detection and response.
  • Analyze logs, respond to incidents, and perform vulnerability management across enterprise environments.
  • Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash to enhance security operations.
  • Manage and secure Linux and Red Hat systems with version control (GitLab, GitHub).
  • Support security configurations and monitoring for cloud platforms (MS Azure).
  • Apply knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
  • Ensure secure networking practices (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, DHCP) and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance and governance.
  • Contribute to DevSecOps initiatives, including container security, GDPR, HIPAA, and web security.
  • Support audits, documentation, and reporting for compliance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming and Bash scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and other security products.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Red Hat systems, GitLab, GitHub, and MS Azure.
  • In-depth understanding of networking protocols, vulnerabilities, and risk management.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices (container security, HIPAA, GDPR, web security).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience in large organizations and team environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as CEH, CompTIA Security+, Azure Security, or CISSP.
