Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have end-to-end experience with US F&A GL month close tasks.
  • S/he will be responsible for the submission of Borrowing Compliance and Ratio Analysis.
  • A strong understanding of financial reporting, including Balance sheet, Income Statement, and Accruals movements is required.
  • The selected candidate will guide the preparation of monthly financial accounts in line with SOPs and processes in place.
  • s/he will also assist in the preparation of Annual Accounts and Finalization of Accounts of Group Companies and the Consolidated Accounts for the Company in line with US GAAP.
  • The candidate will be responsible for the monthly consolidation of the group companies.
  • s/he will also Assist in the preparation of year-end books for audit purposes and Liaison with the auditors for interim and final audits.

About this Role: As an Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial data. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end closing tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet preparation.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and audit schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors.
  • Provide support for internal audits and special projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or large corporation.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in financial software and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
