Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

The role of a Senior Site Reliability Engineer involves ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission-critical systems. This is achieved through close collaboration with development and operations teams to build and maintain infrastructure, improve system reliability, and automate processes wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring & Altering: Implement and maintain monitoring tools and dashboards for system health, performance, and capacity planning to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts for repetitive tasks, including deployments, scaling, and maintenance, to reduce manual intervention and enhance efficiency.
  • Incident Management: Respond to incidents, lead post-incident analysis, and drive efforts to prevent recurrences through detailed root cause analysis.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in infrastructure, databases, applications, and networking to guarantee seamless system operation.
  • System Design & Architecture: Collaborate with development teams to design systems that are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and optimized for performance and cost.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines to automate deployments and improve delivery cycles.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, ensuring that systems are resilient and capable of fast recovery in case of unexpected events.
  • Capacity Planning: Monitor and forecast resource utilization and implement cost-effective scaling strategies to guarantee efficient resource allocation.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that all systems meet or exceed security and compliance requirements to protect sensitive data and maintain trust with stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems and processes, providing mentorship and sharing knowledge with team members to promote growth and collaboration.
