About the Position

We are seeking a Finance and Accounting Specialist to lead our team's financial management activities. This role combines project-level financial oversight with corporate accounting responsibilities, requiring collaboration with stakeholders to ensure financial goals are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review financial documents for compliance and client requirements.
  • Establish and maintain project records in ERP systems, ensuring accurate data collection and storage.
  • Provide detailed financial reports, forecasts, and profitability analyses to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to prepare monthly invoices and requisition forms, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Support collections and resolve outstanding accounts in coordination with leadership.
  • Maintain accurate corporate and local accounting records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing monthly financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, manage fixed asset registers, and coordinate financial schedules.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes, assist auditors with year-end closing and documentation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a professional services environment; AEC industry experience is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Deltek Vision, is essential; Tally experience is an added benefit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with US-GAAP, IFRS, and IND-AS accounting standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively, with high accuracy and attention to detail.
