We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our team at Microsoft. As a Sr.SRE, you will be responsible for investigating and solving complex technical issues related to Windows systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with Engineering teams and provide technical reviews and action plans for customers.
  2. Manage crisis situations that may involve technically challenging issues and diverse audiences.
  3. Use trace analysis, debug skills, source code, and proprietary tools to analyze problems and develop solutions to meet customer needs.
  4. Communicate with Microsoft product groups to influence decisions and understand customer needs to deliver great customer experiences.
  5. Mentor SREs to SME level and continually learn and improve skills.

Requirements

  • Strong customer-centric problem-solving skills with experience in debugging Windows systems and infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage crisis situations and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of Windows Architecture, Internals, and System Center Products.
  • Experience with post-mortem debugging using WinDbg or similar debugger tools.
