As a core member of the QA team, you will:
- Create and design application testing processes.
- Develop automated testing and problem-solving for various tasks in development process.
- Advise best practices and optimisations throughout testing and bug-fixing processes.
- Collaborate with fellow engineering leads to develop test plans and create extensive test cases for stable delivery.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout application development lifecycle.
- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement in testing practices.
The SDET Lead (Automation) role is critical to our success, requiring candidates with the following qualifications:

- 8+ years of proven experience as an SDET Lead / Automation Engineer, specialising in test automation frameworks within the JavaScript ecosystem.
- Strong hands-on skills in designing, building, and maintaining robust automation frameworks, with deep understanding of software testing principles, debugging, and defect reporting.
- Skilled in automated testing (including Playwright with JavaScript) and experienced in writing and maintaining automated test cases as part of comprehensive test suites.
- Proficient in test documentation development (test plans, test cases, checklists, regression suites) to support Agile QA processes.
- Hands-on expertise in integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines for scalable regression coverage and faster release cycles.
- Knowledgeable in SQL, Java, and related systems, enabling integration testing and data validation across different layers.
- Experienced in Agile frameworks, regression testing, and continuous quality improvement practices.
- Leadership background in mentoring, guiding, and uplifting automation engineers to ensure best practices and high-quality delivery.
- Recognised for excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
