Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Teradata Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Teradata development and a strong understanding of database design principles.

Description:

  • Design and develop solutions based on specifications received from the project teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project expectations and deliver high-quality results.
  • Analyze business needs and propose technical solutions that align with company objectives.
  • Implement best practices, coding standards, and development culture to ensure excellence in delivery.
  • Develop and maintain Teradata SQL code based on requirements and provide expertise in data modeling.
  • Have experience working with Teradata tools such as BTEQ, Fast Load, TPT, Macros, and Procedures.
  • Maintain and improve existing database systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot and debug database issues to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Core Skills:

  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in Shell scripting and Python.
  • Databases: Expertise in Teradata SQL, Teradata Stored Procedures, Snowflake, and Data Modelling.
  • Utilities: Experience working with Teradata BTEQ, Fast Load, and TPT.
