Data Centre Operations Manager

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the operations team and manage daily activities in a data centre. This entails developing operational policies, ensuring adherence to industry standards, and supporting technology implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day data centre operations, including monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Budget Contribution: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement operational strategies.Policy Development: Establish and enforce policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and systems.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.Data Analysis: Monitor and analyse operational data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.Capacity Planning: Participate in planning and executing capacity expansions and infrastructure upgrades.Incident Management: Provide leadership during critical incidents and emergencies, ensuring quick resolution.Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on operational performance.Digital Mindset: Champion a digital mindset within the organization to drive innovation and competitiveness.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Work Experience: 6-12 years of experience in managing shift operations of data centres.
