Job Summary:

As a Deputy Manager - Operations Support, you will play a critical role in supporting the Registrar & Banking operations services activity of the India Mutual Fund business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Banking operations activities for the Mutual Fund, including coordination with Banks for opening/closing scheme accounts and providing online access of the accounts to all users.
  • Track subscription inflows in various collection bank accounts and update the same in the in-house application to provide timely and accurate cash flow reports to the investment team.
  • Initiate RTGS/NEFT/Fund transfers bank instructions (manual and physical) to various banks.
  • Handle Redemption, Dividend, & refund payouts, track Rejection & issue warrants/DD.
  • Review and resolve breaks in reconciliation (Dividend/Redemption/Refund/Subscription).
  • Coordinate with Service Providers, including Registrar coordination for processing of Investor transactions, review and resolve queries from Investors / Distributors/Sales/Branch Team, and co-ordination with Exchanges for scheme master set up and investor transactions.
  • Co-ordinate with service providers like RTA, Exchanges, Depositories, etc for new scheme launch up.
  • Support Operations, including knowledge of Mutual Fund Regulations, handling Internal, Statutory audit & Regulatory audit.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Registrar, banking, depository processes, and understanding of SEBI Regulations.
  • Familiarity with technology, operating platforms, and software used in asset management industry.
  • Effective knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills, with aptitude for building positive relationships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in branch operations for a Mutual Fund / AMC.
  • Knowledge of Registrar, banking, depository processes.
  • Understanding of SEBI Regulations.
  • Familiarity with technology, operating platforms, and software used in asset management industry.
  • Effective knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytics and problem-solving skills.
  • Aptitude for building positive relationships.

Preferred Industry Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in RTA/branch ops of an Asset Management Company / Mutual Fund.
