Lead Design & Engineering Expert

This is an exceptional opportunity to drive engineering excellence and shape the future of digital axle counter solutions. At our organization, we're seeking a seasoned professional to lead our design & engineering support team.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide design & engineering support for digital axle counter solutions, ensuring compliance with safety, signalling standards, and reliability requirements.
  • Lead V&V activities including First Time Right (FTR) checks to ensure quality and fail-safe product performance.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and internal teams to address design, compliance, and product approval requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of product failures, propose corrective actions, and drive engineering improvements.
  • Manage engineering documentation, design reports, and ensure compliance with international standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for project management, design support, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support embedded system-based product development with a focus on innovation and reliability.
Requirements:
  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or related discipline with a minimum of 10 years' experience in Railway Signalling domain.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fail-safe signalling product design (HW/SW) and embedded systems.
  • Hands-on understanding of international standards and railway signalling concepts.
  • Expertise in RAMS methodologies including MTBF, RBD, FTA, and reliability calculations.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across all levels.
  • Proven ability in project management, root cause analysis, and vendor liaisoning.
