Senior Financial Accountant Position

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Financial Accountant to join our team in Ballari, India. This role will oversee multiple branches across different locations and be responsible for the entire Order to cash cycle for circulation revenue.

The ideal candidate will have Chartered Accountant qualification and 10+ years experience in Accounting in service industry. They should possess good communication skill, Time Management, Process Management skills, Result Orientation and have working knowledge in SAP.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Billing, credit – recovery management & compliance
  • 100% error free revenue recognition
  • Effective and timely recoveries of all outstanding's

The selected candidate will also be responsible for:

  • Dealer Interface Role: Ensuring Billing to all Agencies, Dispute resolution management with agencies and customers, Maintenance of customer codes with proper documentation
  • Controllership Role: Booking of value addition orders /invoice regrading sponsorship etc, Reconciliation between Dealer and Finance ledger balances, Coordination with auditors internal, Statutory and IFC audit
  • Banking: Managing interface with banks on banking products, clearing of collection etc
  • MIS, finance dept reporting: Month end reports/Presentation relating to revenue and collections, Calculation of Classified, Display and Canvasser incentive, Month Closing checklist adherence
  • Legal & Compliances: GST & TDS compliance
  • Commercial & Cost Control: Exposure to reconciliation of Debtors, Provision for expenses, cost ledger, vendor payment etc, Exposure to legal Contracts, Barter arrangement etc, Exposure to Budgeting exercise, Exposure to Document management set up
  • IT Tools: Customer Database maintenance, High Knowledge on Excel, word, power point, power BI
