**Social Media Marketing Specialist Position Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media Marketing Specialist to develop and execute strategic social media plans, create engaging content, manage impactful campaigns, and drive community engagement across digital platforms.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for a brand's online presence (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)
  • Create and manage monthly content calendars that align with the brand's tone and key campaigns
  • Collaborate with design, content, and video teams to produce high-quality posts, stories, and reels
  • Monitor trends, hashtags, and platform updates to ensure content remains fresh and relevant
  • Plan and manage paid social media campaigns and boost strategies to maximize reach and engagement
  • Respond to queries, messages, and comments in a timely and professional manner
  • Cultivate relationships with influencers and partners to enhance brand visibility
  • Support live coverage of key events, campaigns, and announcements through social media channels

**Eligibility Criteria:

  • A degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing social media for a brand or agency
  • A strong portfolio or links to managed accounts is highly valued
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms and audience behavior
  • Excellent writing and visual storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in social media tools like Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Canva, etc.

The ideal candidate will have a strong connection to the region, whether through education, work, or family ties. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in the industry.
