Job Title

Job Purpose/Summary:

We seek a skilled software packaging specialist to assist in the creation and deployment of applications using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT) and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or Microsoft Intune.

Key Responsibilities:


• Assist in repackaging applications into MSI, MST, or App-V formats


• Support the creation of application packages using PSADT tools


• Participate in testing and validation of application packages in lab and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) environments


• Document packaging steps, testing results, and installation guidelines


• Support deployment through SCCM or Intune and resolve packaging-related issues


• Coordinate with stakeholders for requirements gathering

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is required. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Windows operating systems and Windows Installer technology.

Functional Skills:


• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Windows Installer technology


• Highly experienced in packaging tools like Admin Studio, Installshield, Orca, and troubleshooting tools like PicTaker, Beyond Compare, ACT, etc.


• Experience in handling packages with drivers, certificates, services, permissions, etc.


• Expertise in PowerShell scripting & PSADT


• Experience in SCCM or Intune for deployment


• Understanding of dependencies, DLLs, registry, and custom actions

Behavioral Skills:


• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and eagerness to work in a structured IT environment


• Good communication and documentation skills
