  • Maintain and optimize Oracle databases for large-scale applications.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of database systems.

We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join our team.

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining Oracle databases in a complex environment.

The successful candidate will have expertise in database administration, including backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security.

A strong understanding of Oracle Enterprise Manager, RMAN, Data Guard, and Performance Tuning is essential.

Familiarity with Real Application Cluster (RAC) and Exadata is a plus.

Experience with Cloud IaaS infrastructure and Unix skills are also desired.

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Oracle databases.
  • Maintain and optimize database performance.
  • Ensure data security and integrity.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve database-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in database administration.
  • Expertise in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle utilities.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with cloud-based database platforms.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools.
