System Developer for Warehouse Management

This role involves the development and maintenance of custom SAP WM solutions, utilizing ABAP programming skills to enhance warehouse operations and logistics.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, along with 8-10 years of experience in SAP WM development and support.

A strong understanding of WM processes, including putaway, picking, transfer orders, stock movements, and inventory management is essential.

Hands-on experience with RF transactions and mobile warehouse solutions is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement custom SAP WM solutions using ABAP.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
  • Develop RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) for WM processes.
  • Enhance and support SAP WM configurations and custom developments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WM transactions and warehouse operations.
  • Ensure smooth integration with MM, SD, and LE modules.
  • Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.
  • Prepare technical documentation, test plans, and end-user guides.
Required Skills:
  • Strong ABAP programming skills (BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, SmartForms, ALV Reports).
  • Expertise in WM processes: putaway, picking, transfer orders, stock movements, and inventory management.
  • Hands-on experience with RF transactions and mobile warehouse solutions.
  • Solid understanding of SAP integration with MM, SD, and preferably EWM.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • SAP certification in WM or Logistics Execution.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and embedded EWM.
  • Exposure to Fiori/UI5 and OData services.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
