Job Description
- Operations Manager: We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team in efficiently managing the flow of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manpower Planning: Manage workforce planning, shift rostering, and load projections to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
- Facility Management: Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Vehicle Management: Oversee vehicle connections, availability, and timely unloading/loading to meet performance metrics.
- Ad-hoc Vehicle Requirements: Plan and coordinate ad-hoc vehicle needs based on load profiles and collaborate with fleet teams.
- Service Level Management: Maintain high service levels and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Team Collaboration: Foster effective communication and coordination with various teams, including commercial, security, fleet, and last mile.
- Metric-Driven Performance: Drive metric-driven performance in inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, and first mile metrics.
- HR/Employee Management: Develop and implement HR strategies to enhance employee morale, diversity hiring, and employee safety.
- Capability Building: Mentor and develop team members through training and coaching.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive them to closure.
- Industry Best Practices: Implement industry best practices in shop floor management, such as Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree (mandatory) - preferably in engineering.
- Functional Skills: People management, operations management.
- Personal Attributes: Curiosity, ownership, agility.
- Behavioral Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills, problem-solving, task prioritization, and follow-up abilities.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
