Job Opportunity:

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment. This role involves operating tools to aid in the manufacturing process, performing periodic checks on machinery, and solving problems as detected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup and calibration of machines and equipment
  • Operate hand tools to aid in the manufacturing process
  • Perform periodic checks on equipment and solve problems as detected
  • Work with others to ensure equipment is in proper working order
  • Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
  • Adjust machine settings and feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines
  • Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Test operation of equipment periodically
  • Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
  • Keep records of approved and defective units or final products

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/ ITI / Mechanical / Fitter Courses
  • Combination of additional education and experience
  • Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics
  • Ability to work and communicate well with others
  • Proficiency with hand tools
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
  • Understanding of production procedures
