This Android Software Engineer position will play a key role in developing next-gen solutions that empower millions and revolutionize industries.



Key Responsibilities



  • Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Java & Kotlin.
  • Create reusable android SDKs and implement offline storage, threading, and performance optimisation.
  • Develop accessible components and create high-quality UI components with XML & Code.
  • Craft apps with DataStore, Coroutines & LiveData and implement custom user interaction including Haptics, Gestures, Game Controllers, etc.
  • Effectively implement google material design on scale and understand multi-platform development including Tablets, Android TV, Wear OS, Auto, etc.


Nice to Have Skills



  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and creating immersive experiences with VR, Multi-Window, etc.
  • Develop apps with Google Assistant, Play Instant, Google pay & CameraX.
  • Understanding/Experience of Open source development and contribution.


Requirements


To succeed in this role, you should have:



  • Proficient in Java & Kotlin.
  • Experience with creating reusable android SDKs.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance optimisation/profiling.
  • Experience in writing accessible components.
