Statutory Audit Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Statutory Audit Manager to lead and manage statutory audit engagements for clients across sectors. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, and other regulatory requirements.

The role involves reviewing financial statements, audit working papers, and supporting documentation, as well as identifying and resolving accounting, auditing, and reporting issues. You will also coordinate with clients' management teams for smooth execution of audits and guide and mentor junior team members and review their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage statutory audit engagements for clients across sectors.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards, Companies Act, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Review financial statements, audit working papers, and supporting documentation.
  • Identify and resolve accounting, auditing, and reporting issues.
  • Coordinate with clients' management teams for smooth execution of audits.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members and review their work.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in statutory audit.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, Ind-AS, Companies Act, and audit methodologies.
  • Experience with listed/unlisted companies preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and team management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments independently.
