Purchasing Director

As a pivotal member of our organization, the Purchasing Director will oversee timely and cost-effective procurement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sustainably source high-quality materials at optimal costs.
  • Analyze market alternatives, conduct thorough cost-benefit assessments, and present findings to senior management.
  • Maintain oversight of end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring punctual delivery and payment to suppliers.
  • Optimize inventory levels by adjusting lot sizes and reducing lead times.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with vendors through performance monitoring and regular improvement projects.
  • Maintain effective communication with all sites, conduct site visits, and cultivate professional networks within and outside the organization.
  • Closely monitor progress, taking corrective action as needed to meet objectives.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Demonstrated expertise in construction materials procurement.
  • Able to enhance product value and negotiate annual rate contracts.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills for effective site coordination.
  • Strong research orientation and ability to control inventory effectively.
  • Ongoing monitoring and review of progress.
