Accounting Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. The role primarily focuses on revenue recognition, general ledger management, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, excellent Excel skills, and prior experience in financial analysis.

Key responsibilities include:


•Accurately recognize revenue and prepare general ledger entries with supporting documentation.


•Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances.


•Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.


•Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.


•Support audit processes by preparing required schedules and documentation.


•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.


•Analyze and interpret financial data to support reporting and decision-making.


•Establish, maintain, and monitor appropriate financial policies, controls, and processes.

Requirements & Qualifications


•Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field


•Minimum 2-3 years proven working experience in accounting domain


•Strong technology skills with expertise in Microsoft Excel


•Working experience in Sage Intacct is a plus


•Flexibility to work in UK/ US time zone


•Prior experience working with third-party client setup


•Experience managing project work with tight deadlines and fast-paced environment
