Senior Flutter Frontend Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Flutter Frontend Engineer to lead our mobile app development team.

  • This is a leadership role that requires technical expertise, strong communication skills and the ability to mentor junior engineers.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and implementing high-quality mobile app frontends using Flutter, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional user experiences.

  • Design, develop and maintain reusable UI components and widgets.
  • Implement responsive and adaptive layouts, ensuring smooth animations and transitions.
  • Optimize performance and reduce lag.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of frontend engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Implement robust state management solutions using Flutter's built-in features or third-party libraries.
  • Integrate APIs and ensure seamless data exchange between the frontend and backend.
  • Establish and maintain high coding standards, ensuring clean, modular and well-documented code.
Requirements
  • 8-15 years of experience in mobile app development with a strong focus on Flutter.
  • Proficiency in Flutter, Dart and mobile app development.
  • Experience with state management, navigation and animation in Flutter.
  • Knowledge of mobile app architecture, performance optimization and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with frontend development principles including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams of engineers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with other mobile app development frameworks such as React Native or native iOS/Android.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with frontend build tools like Webpack or Rollup.
  • Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and best practices.
