Job Description

The role of the Power BI Engineer is to transform complex data into actionable insights for internal teams and external clients.

Working with Talogy's Talent Measurement platform, you'll create visualizations that bring clarity to assessment results.

  • Design and build solutions that meet business needs.
  • Capable of architecting, designing, and implementing warehouse and reporting solutions.
  • Extract data from bespoke applications and third-party products.
  • Consolidate multiple data sources into a data warehouse and/or data lake.
  • Ensure data accessibility and structure to facilitate reporting needs.
  • Set up dashboards and reports in data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Build resilient, reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions.
  • Monitor issues proactively and implement best practices.

Role Responsibilities:

  1. Meet business requirements by creating effective data solutions.
  2. Implement and optimize data architecture.
  3. Develop repeatable data pull requests and execute ad-hoc requests as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or relevant work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience with SQL Servers and relational databases.
  • Strong experience querying and optimizing complex data sets.
  • Experience working with legacy code and systems.
  • End-to-end knowledge of product databases to information visualization.
  • Experience in Azure cloud technologies.
  • Relational database design and architecture skills.
  • Expertise in data visualization and reporting.
  • Understanding of OLAP structures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
