Job Overview

The backbone of our solar projects requires a skilled Civil Supply Chain Manager. This role entails the timely delivery of civil materials to site within approved limits. You will partner with SCM and local vendors to achieve flawless procurement and logistics.

  • Procure site-level civil items locally.
  • Coordinate with Project Manager for timely material availability.
  • Maintain vendor database for civil items and consumables.
  • Ensure procurement follows company policies, compliance, and quality standards.

Monitor and report material inflow/outflow, consumption, and stock levels. Resolve material shortages or delays at the site independently.

Manage multiple vendors/contractors to negotiate prices and close work orders effectively.

Prioritize the preparation and maintenance of documentation (POs, GRNs, invoices, vendor records).

Sources local specialized manpower for electrical, MMS structure, and substation projects.

Qualification & Experience/Skills Requirements:
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of civil construction materials and consumables.
  • Show understanding of local procurement practices and vendor management.
  • Familiarity with procurement documentation (POs, GRN, invoices) is essential.
  • Develop good coordination and negotiation skills for effective vendor interaction.

A basic knowledge of ERP/SCM tools is preferred. A degree in Civil Engineering or relevant SCM experience is required.

A minimum of 5–8 years of experience in procurement/supply chain of construction/renewable/industrial projects is expected.

Prior site-based SCM/proecurement exposure is preferred but not mandatory.
