About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Automation Developer to join our team at SAP. As a Quality Automation Developer, you will be responsible for developing end-to-end integration tests to create test automations for different use cases and scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand the functionality provided by the reuse services under the overall DPP Suite.
  • Become responsible and drive the Quality and Automation for the DPP Suite.
  • Develop end-to-end integration tests to create test automations for different use cases and scenarios.
  • Understand cross-cutting concerns like Security, Performance, User Experience and write test cases and automation tests for the same.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate quality-related activities.
  • Understand use cases from an end-user perspective and ensure end-to-end testing.
  • Take full responsibility for accepted tasks and demonstrate a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency.

Requirements

  • University degree (B.E or equivalent) in Computer Science or related engineering subject.
  • 4-8 years of experience in testing applications and frameworks.
  • Experience with working on exploratory testing frameworks like POSTMAN or Insomnia.
  • Working knowledge of test automation frameworks like RestAssured for testing REST APIs.
  • Working knowledge of UI automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypress.
  • Basic knowledge on performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Basic knowledge of BDD test automation frameworks like Cucumber.
  • Working knowledge on testing applications on Cloud Foundry & Kubernetes would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to quickly adopt and acquire new skills in relevant areas and technologies.

About the Team

The DPP Engineering team works on one of the most strategic topics, which is Data Privacy and Protection (DPP) reuse services in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). These services help manage different data privacy regulations like the EU GDPR.
