Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Web Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.This role involves writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.You will be responsible for ensuring the performance, quality, and security of applications and staying updated with the latest industry trends to continuously improve and innovate.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain PHP-based web applications and websites.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Develop and implement custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and performance issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability, ensuring seamless user experience.
  • Develop and maintain databases, write and optimize SQL queries, and ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Stay updated with the latest PHP, web development trends, and technologies to continuously improve the development process.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including API documentation and deployment notes.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress Development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency in PHP, including experience with frameworks such as WordPress or Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for seamless integration of user-facing elements.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL, and ability to write efficient SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git for code management and collaboration.
  • Solid grasp of object-oriented programming principles and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in writing scalable and maintainable code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and the ability to implement security and data protection measures.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and cost management tools in Azure.
