Job Description:

The primary objective of this role is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of fire fighting equipment. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness of the equipment, as well as the surrounding area.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure firefighting equipment is clean and in good working order.
  • Carry out regular checks as per checklist to guarantee system health and functionality.
  • Maintain a healthy system in auto mode and perform preventive maintenance activities.
  • In case of any major issues, inform maintenance manager, property managers, and client promptly.
  • Indent consumables and spares on time to avoid disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance documents are available at the site.
  • Update contact details regularly.
  • Prepare training plans and conduct scheduled training sessions.
  • Update fire warden lists regularly.
  • Monitor operation of hydrant and sprinkler systems.
  • Maintain daily logs according to log sheet and checklist.
  • Ensure equipment and personnel safety.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Fire & Safety.

Work Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience.
