Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst with a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence. The successful candidate will have expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages and experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Analysis: Collecting, processing, and analyzing project data on timelines, resource allocation, and production efficiency to inform business decisions.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitoring project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround time, artist productivity, and cost efficiency.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identifying bottlenecks in post-production processes using data insights and suggesting improvements.
  • Billing Reconciliation: Collaborating with production teams for accurate monthly reconciliation of billing data and identifying discrepancies.
  • Process Improvement: Providing actionable insights to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
  • Forecasting & Budgeting: Supporting production teams by predicting resource needs and cost estimations.
  • Automation & Reporting: Developing dashboards and reports using Business Intelligence tools to provide real-time insights.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in post-production, VFX, or advertising.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages for data analysis, and experience with Business Intelligence tools.
  • Financial Acumen: Experience in financial reconciliation, billing verification, and cost analysis.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of post-production workflows.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and present findings effectively.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with creative and technical teams.
