Cloud Support Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves implementing, managing, and supporting cloud deployments, systems, and services to ensure high levels of availability, redundancy, and business continuity.">

Responsibilities include managing client Azure infrastructure spanning multiple data centers, focusing on performance, availability, and stability.

You will work closely with automation tools and processes such as Azure Dev/Ops, continuous integration, and automation of infrastructure components.

  • Act as a trusted advisor in your assigned vertical, participating in high-value customer engagements.
  • Build, deploy, and manage Virtual Machines, Platform as a Service (PaaS) services like Analytics, and automation in the Azure Cloud environment.
  • Lead and act as an SME for Azure platforms (Infrastructure as a Service, Intune/Autopilot, etc.) within the IT operations team.

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Computer Science or Information Technology degree or diploma, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Post-secondary education obtained by a community college or one or more professional designations.
  • Up to 7 years of experience in Server and Cloud Administration.

This role also requires building a DevOps practice within the internal IT group, so industry knowledge of best practices in automation and DevOps is a must-have.
